Across the street from West Park,  the center is both a replacement for an outdated area pool & an anchor for West Park as it grows northward along a creek. Split by the creek, much of the site is covered by a flood plain. The remaining buildable area has a deceptive amount of topographic fall, requiring creativity in the siting of the program elements.  The plan was carefully terraced to achieve a harmonious balance of components, intuitive circulation, visual interest & safety.
