"Blend the old and the new”, that was the challenge issued from the City of Temple for the design of a new police facility. To accomplish this goal, carefully detailed brick and stonework were used at the building's base to relate to the surrounding historical fabric and align with the already established street setback. The use of larger glazing and metal paneling help create a more open feel in office and circulation areas while integrating a modern and progressive image.
