This facility houses the University of Oklahoma's Department of Public Safety and includes a 911 communications center, evidence processing & storage, staff offices, & locker rooms. To improve the quality of each of these spaces, an interior courtyard was used to draw natural light into the center of the building. On the exterior of the building, brick & metal panel materials coordinate with the current university palette & help to identify the building programatically. A taller metal panel spine bicects a one story brick facade, establishing the main entry and screening roof-top mechanical units.
